Presents: Indie Selects Vol. 3 Featuring Danny Delavie, MSC Jay, Yung Gravy, Stockz & More

Today we hit the pages with Game 3 of the Indie Selects playlist. Coming in 15 tracks strong, this playlist gives you a wide-ranging soundscape of some fire new indie picks. Find out more about how this collection of songs met its finish.

One of my absolute favorite finds this week would have to be rapper Stockz. Opening up the playlist with his latest “Put It In My Hand,” the Mikos Da Gawd-produced effort is a bouncy banger that’s sure to keep your week sliding on hydraulics. What’s even cooler is its visual pairing, which features Americas Next Top Model/Ford Model Justine Mae Biticon. The John Gomez-directed clip gives a whole new meaning to getting down and dirty.

Then enters C Wells, a buzzing recording artist out of Lynn, Massachusetts,  who’s riding a new wave right off his new single “New Whip.” The release follows up Wells’ September 2017 short-film, 187 781. On “New Whip”, C Wells is a man on a mission with this quality of lyricism coming from an up-and-coming.

This week Patrick Paige, of the hit R&B/soul group The Internet, unveils a solo effort titled “Voodoo.” The bassist and producer unveils the second single from his upcoming debut solo album Letters Of Irrelevance, set for release on May 18, 2018. “Voodoo” is a brilliant showcase of Patrick Paige’s soulful R&B vocals, whereas previously released single “On My Mind/Charge It To The Game” was more of an introduction to his skills as a rapper.
