Following his wet and wild “Hennything Can Happen,” Atlantic City, NJ artist Dolla unveils his latest single, “Party.” Produced by Atlanta-based hitmaker Pi’erre Bourne, Dolla and Dreamdoll some trade boastful bars, while GOLDe lays a catchy chorus for the ladies.
With a bounce reminiscent to Ginuwine’s “Pony,” Dolla serves up a single that you can keep on repeat as we enter the new year. Stream the track below, and expect the official Nimi Hendrix-directed visual to drop very soon!
In a Boi-1da.com exclusive, we caught up with Dolla to get the scoop on the brand new single and see what the future holds for the Jersey native!
How did the GOLDe x Dreamdoll x Pi’erre Bourne collaboration come about?
I met Pi’erre in Atlanta, and got the beat about two years ago. This was before he was big. I’ve been in touch with Dreamdoll for some time now and felt like this made the most sense to collab on. GOLDe does a lot of traveling but he’s from ’round the way.
What was the inspiration behind the song?
The song had a great vibe. We wanted to create a setting where we are bringing a party to life rather giving a song you party to.
What are you working on in the new year?
4EverLit mixtape on the way. Plenty of new music videos are dropping soon.
Hit play on “Party” below! Remember you heard it here first:
