The fifth annual Manifesto Festival of Community & Culture culminates today with “Live at the Square” – an all-day outdoor block party and concert headlined by Rakim and Kid Capri, Blu and Exile, Phonte and 9th Wonder, and many more.
Taking place at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto, the main stage performances run all day until 11pm. There is also a bboy/bgirl open dance floor, graffiti wall and open canvas artwork, and workshops happening throughout the day. You can also check out the Freshest Goods Market for Toronto-based urban clothing brands like 1 LOVE T.O. and Ambush Apparel.
Featuring a series of unparalleled hip hop cultural events – from showcases to conferences to concerts – Manifesto fosters the celebration, unity, and sense of pride of Toronto’s diverse arts community. The main stage will also be graced by Toronto natives like Andreena Mill, JD Era and A-Game so if you’re in the city, make sure you check it out.
